    was meeting an old friend and we were looking for something in between south bay and peninsula and agreed on this place. it a hidden gem as it was both our first time going here. the food was excellent. i had the salmon and she had the steak sandwich- both delicious. their drinks were also great. the service was great too. will definitely be coming back.

    Food: First time at The Field Club...I always preplan my options and read all reviews. Was not too excited to eat here but my hubby went here before and wanted to go back. Seriously was too good to explain and we only had a couple things. The first thing I had to order was a Whiskey sour even though it is not on the menu, I saw that they used egg whites in several drinks, so I ordered it and it was THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! We then ordered the crab cakes and ahi tartar. I started with the crab cakes and was enjoying it so much, huge portions...pictures do not do it justice, the two sauces that accompany it are so delicious. The star of the night was the ahi tartar appetizer...it was a huge portion, and the flavor was so incredible, we cannot handle a lot of spice (hot) but it had just enough to add a kick, the tuna was so fresh and the avocado, red onion side salad is out of this world...and then the wontons were perfect in every way. We will be back again and again Side note for the person who gave one star and said that all reviews must be from family and friends... you need to try again Service: service was great , no complaints, not overly fussy but attentive, welcoming and seemed happy to be there Ambiance: Very surprised when entering, since we used to frequent the previous restaurant. They were able to create a very homy welcoming environment not overstated but tastefully done, plenty of tables inside and out. Nice size bar area, we usually prefer to sit at the bar but it was full at the time so had to sit at a table. It is a bit windy at this location so be prepared, bring a jacket just in case

    Came in near closing but still received exceptional service. Just wanted to say a huge shoutout to my server Rick who was super helpful in explaining the menu and recommendations. Food was great and so was the ambiance. Will be back again!
